In scientific news around the world, despite previous safety concerns, Brazilian health officials decide to allow imports of Sputnik V, the Russian-made vaccine against the pandemic coronavirus. One strategy to combat dengue fever with bacteria-armed mosquitoes has passed their toughest test to date: a randomized controlled trial in Indonesia.
